This is because, at some instances you have used punctuation marks after <code>\author</code> and <code>\address</code> commands which are not needed there. The previous version of the class file (<code>elsart.cls</code>) needed this while <code>elsarticle.cls</code> does not require the same and hence a blank page with punctuation marks alone is created. | |||
