General questions

1. I would like to sumbit a paper to Elsevier. Please advise how should I proceed?
2. I would like to know the status of my submited paper.
3. I am preparing a paper for Chemical Engineering Science. I have downloaded required LaTeX package, however, I am confused about which reference style I should use for this journal. Is it elsarticle-num.bst, elsarticle-num-names.bst or elsarticle-template-harv.tex?
4. I am using the template file ( elsarticle-template-num) developed by River-Vally. For the abstracpart the paper asks for an MSC code. Where do I find that code for my paper?
5. I've installed the package using MikTeX package manager alright. It has typeset the example elsarticle-template-harv.tex succesfully. Now I hope to try it on a more extensive document such as the example you are using for illustration. I am trying to get hold of the tex file you are using to illustrate the package elsarticle.cls. Is there anywhere I can download it from?
